Chris Rigby founded Chris Rigby Associates in early 2011 and prior to that spent 39 years in the banking industry with HSBC and latterly Clydesdale Bank being part of the National Australia Bank Group.
During his time with these major global banking groups he developed significant experience and skills, leading teams in the business banking market.
Much of Chris’s career was spent in the East Midlands before moving to the Sussex South Coast in 1999 to lead HSBC’s business team.
In 2004 he moved to London to take a senior role in the Regional Credit Team subsequently playing an integral part in building the restructured Central Credit Team in the Group’s HQ in Canary Wharf.
Chris was approached by National Australia Bank Group in 2005 to build a new business in Sussex as part of the market-leading Clydesdale Bank proposition.
After 5 very successful years developing a strong brand for Clydesdale, Chris decided it was time to pursue a life-long ambition and start his own business using the skills and experience he had developed over so many years together with his wide network of professional and business contacts.
